Ambition
Ambition
Ambition is
one of the main ideas in Macbeth. Macbeth himself is an extremely ambitious person.
One could even argue that this ambition caused him to murder people. Macbeth was so
ambitious to become king that he killed anyone in his way. Also, ambition
caused Lady Macbeth to kill herself. She, like Macbeth, was at one point
ambitious for her husband to become king, so she convinced him to murder
Duncan. Later, though, she regretted this and committed suicide.
Ambition definitely
is part of one of the themes in Macbeth. I feel as though one of the themes in Macbeth is that
ambition, when uncontrolled, can cause a person to do horrible things. We see
this theme through Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. They were so ambitious they
murdered people! Ambition is not necessary a bad thing, but when one does not
control it, it can be dangerous.

Macbeth and Reading Times
The three
witches have major roles in Macbeth. They are the ones who tell Macbeth his prophecy.
In my opinion, they are the ones who doom Macbeth. If he hadn’t met them, there
is a huge possibility that his life would not have changed so dramatically. The
witches enjoy being evil. One of the witches even says, “Fair is foul and foul
is fair.”
“Fair is foul
and foul is fair” is an important quote because it gives the reader the idea
that the witches are wicked. When they say this, they are explaining that
sometimes life isn’t fair. Bad things often happen. They witches actually
probably enjoy being the ones who cause such foul things to happen. They are
evil, dramatic creatures, and this quote shows that.

This week is spring break! It has been so nice to just to stay home with my family and hang out with some friends. Even though it is spring break, I still have a lot of homework to do. My goal is to do a lot of projects that are going to be due within the next few weeks. That way, I won't have to do them later. I have really been enjoying this time away from school.
Yesterday, I went babysitting. I stayed with a six year old named Trey and a nine year old named Lila. Their parents are friends, and they needed someone to babysit because they went to work. I stayed from 8:30 until 5. It was a long day, but I had fun. I hope that I can babysit them again!
